Buffalo Shoals Rd is a unimpressive road that follows the eastern shore of Lake Lure. It is a good road to warm up on and will more then likely be beautiful during the fall colors. The is a great deal of traffic and many driveways leading to the road that cause a safety issue. You can however, use this as a shortcut to I-40 if you are leaving form Lake Lure.
